Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Model Train Tracker and the app at app.modeltraintracker.com. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Plans & billing

• The Free plan supports up to 20 items at no cost, including 20 MTT photo analysis scans per month and insurance-ready exports.
• The Collector plan is billed at $95 per year (or $8.99 per month) and adds 150 items, 150 MTT photo analysis scans per month, and current market values.
• The Curator plan is billed at $189 per year (or $17.99 per month) and adds unlimited items and MTT photo analysis scans plus live revaluation, value history, and price alerts.
• Paid plans (Collector and Curator) renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annual — until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
• Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, but you can downgrade to the Free plan at any time.
• Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.

Your content

You retain ownership of the collection data and photos you add. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Market values & disclaimers

Market values are estimates drawn from secondary-market sources and are provided for reference only. They are not appraisals and are not guaranteed. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Model Train Tracker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe put the service or other users at risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction where the service is operated.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
